Dr. Katharine Christian is a nationally recognized expert in orofacial pain, dental sleep medicine, and facial aesthetics. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, Dr. Christian brings a rare combination of clinical precision, artistic eye, and compassionate care to every patient she sees.

With over 400 hours of advanced training, Dr. Christian has studied extensively with leaders in Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy and laser-based facial rejuvenation (including Fotona4D), and has helped countless patients find relief from TMJ disorders, facial pain, and sleep-related breathing issues—all while helping them look and feel their best.

Originally from the Central Coast of California, Dr. Christian earned her undergraduate degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and completed her dental education at Tufts University in Boston. After relocating to Seattle in 2004, she began specializing in sleep apnea and TMJ disorders and later took over Washington’s leading sleep-focused dental practice in 2014.

Named one of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine’s Top Dentists, Dr. Christian served as the 2024–2025 President of the Seattle King County Dental Society and has held leadership roles in national professional organizations, including Chair of the Ethics and Grievances Committee for the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, and is currently on the AAOFP board. She also mentors fellow clinicians and lectures on TMJ and airway therapies nationwide.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her gardening, reading sci-fi, or cheering on her teens at robotics and water polo events. She lives in West Seattle with her husband and enjoys a quiet life rooted in community and care.
